Attorney Jim Higinbotham started his own practice in Uniontown in 2006, when he had 22 years of experience in law, and was joined by his fellow attorney, Nicholas M. Clark, Esq. in this new venture. The two attorneys and their staff specialize in different aspects of business law, and serve the people of southwest Pennsylvania, specifically Fayette and Greene Counties.

About Attorney James E. Higinbotham, Jr.

Attorney James E. Higinbotham, Jr. was born and raised in Uniontown, PA and is proud to still serve his hometown today. He is a 1977 graduate of Uniontown High School and went on to attend Washington and Jefferson College, where he graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and Economics. Attorney Higinbotham went on to attend West Virginia University’s College of Law, where he earned his J.D. in 1984 and began practicing law in Pennsylvania the same year. He has been a solo practitioner since 2006 and specializes legally in real estate, probate and estate administration, elder law, and business & corporate law. As a practicing attorney, Higinbotham has been involved in and received the following accolades:

About Attorney Nicholas M. Clark

Attorney Nicholas Clark was born in Fayette County in Hopwood and has returned to his home county to practice law. He graduated cum laude from California University of Pennsylvania in 2011 with a B.A. in Political Science with a Pre-Law concentration. While at Cal U, Clark was a member of the University Honors Program, received the Presidential Scholar Award for Academic Achievement, and graduated in only seven semesters. He then went on to Duquesne University School of Law where he earned is J.D. in 2015.

While at Duquesne, Attorney Clark was a member of the Louis L. Manderino Society for Excellence in Courtroom Advocacy and was a semi-finalist in the 2014 National Trial Competition. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar on November 1, 2017 and specializes in criminal law, estate law, landlord & tenant law, corporate law, real estate law, and civil litigation. Attorney Clark also serves as an Assistant Public Defender, and outside of work he enjoys working on classic cars and computer building.
